  • September 17, 2024: Life Insurance: Why It Matters 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. / As Ben Franklin is quoted as saying, nothing is certain except for death and taxes. While we might not like to think about death, it certainly is a reality for us all. Life insurance can help ease the financial hardships of our death for those we leave behind, but many often don't understand how it works, how much it costs and how to interpret key features of such protection policies. Join us as we Take Time to break it down.
  • October 8, 2024: How to Have Difficult Conversations 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. / Having financial conversations with family is easier said than done. In fact, professional leaders can find it easier to hold difficult conversations in the workplace than when tackling them within their family. Join us as we Take Time to open the door to difficult conversations and share tips for getting through emotional topics like money with your spouse, children, and parents.
  • December 10, 2024: Special Pay Plans back by popular demand! 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. / Retirement is a time for you to reap the benefits of a lifetime of planning and saving. But what if your preparations aren't enough? What if the pension you primarily counted on to maintain your lifestyle for you and your spouse isn't as much as you thought it would be? At, or prior to retirement, you may be required by your employer to make an irrevocable choice of either a "maximum pension benefit with no survivor benefits" or a "reduced pension benefit with survivor benefits." We'll discuss options for maximizing the retirement income from your pension or profit-sharing plan while you're alive, and steps to take to ensure your family is protected after your death.
  • January 7, 2025: Keep More of Your Money in Retirement 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. / Strategic investment decisions can help minimize your tax burden which, in turn, means you keep more of your money to invest and grow. But what steps must you take now to minimize taxes later? What tax law changes might be on the horizon and what will they mean for your tax strategy? How do you manage your tax bracket? Join us as we Take Time to review strategies beyond asset allocation and investment selection to help build efficiency in your tax burden, now and in retirement.
  • February 4, 2025: The Importance of Taking Time (Off) 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. / High achieving individuals often successfully manage so many aspects of their professional lives but commonly struggle to unwind. Time and again it has been proven that one key element of holistic health is learning to take a break. We'll also highlight some interesting updates to the travel industry that can make your time off more affordable and perhaps, low-stress.
  • April 8, 2025: Are You Maximizing Your Contract Benefits? 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. / Contract negotiation skills revolve around knowing your worth, negotiating effectively, understanding legalities, and planning for the future.
