NYSERDA's Clean Green Schools Initiative offers the following services at no-cost to the school:
  • Up to $500,000 Per District: 
    - Coordinating an energy study to evaluate energy efficiency projects to support your five-year capital facilities plan or energy performance contract.
    - Coordinating energy efficiency design projects to support a capital project
    - Coordinating indoor air quality studies to create healthier buildings for your students.
  • Up to $50,000 Per District:
    - Integrating energy efficiency topics into the classroom, through internships, field trips, or new course development.
