April 12 - May 10 , 2024 Take Time To Take Care of Yourself A Personal Wellness Program with NYSCOSS/LEAF & Equitable Advisors. The superintendent position requires you to juggle many different things all at once. Unfortunately, taking care of everyone else can come at a price, as many superintendents neglect their own personal well-being. More information
May 7 Aspiring Superintendents Workshop In partnership with Erie 2 BOCES, this one-day workshop will discuss the hiring process, leading with authenticity and intentionality, the superintendent and school board relationship, roundtables with experienced superintendents and what to consider when pursuing a superintendency. May 16 New Superintendents Coffee & Conversation Join us for a brief check in with new superintendents from around the state to discuss issues on your mind or share ideas with colleagues and NYSCOSS. Veteran superintendents will be on hand to share guidance and experiences. More information
June 3 Aspiring Superintendent Pathways Program This workshop, facilitated by regional superintendents, is designed to provide educational leaders who are considering a future Superintendency with an overview of the knowledge, skills, attitudes and understandings necessary to be successful in these key leadership positions.
